My son, husband and I

I am the middle school science teacher at St. Edward School. With a BS in Biology and a BA in Environmental Studies, I hope to improve and enhance the science program here. Being a lifelong learner, I received my Masters in Education in 2009 and teach my students to strive toward whatever direction life is leading them. I do not want to be the variable that holds them back from their dreams.
Receiving my teaching certificate in 2009, I began long term substitute positions for preschool through 5th grade in Federal Way. In 2011, I moved to teaching in a corporate preschool. During my 2 years as a preschool teacher, I received two awards for excellence in teaching. I was hired by Holy Family as the English side of their bilingual program for second and third grades. After serving the bilingual program for 2 years, I followed a call to join the St. Edwards staff in 2016. I look forward to continuing to teach and learn from the students and their parents here at St. Edward's. |
